Private Field Studies require a minimum of 5 participants in the educational class.

Do I have to be a professional Hairdresser to attend a Fever Dream Field Study?

Yes — these HAIRventure experiences are built for active beauty professionals or students currently enrolled in cosmetology or barbering programs. Our education and salon visits are tailored for working artists who want to expand their craft.

Who can join a Fever Dream Field Study?

Each Field Study is designed for licensed hairdressers, barbers, and beauty professionals 18 years or older. You can attend solo, but we also offer private itineraries for salon teams of five or more.

What’s included in the trip cost?

Every Field Study includes your flight, hotel accommodations, group excursions, and all educational experiences. Travel insurance, most lunches/dinners, local transportation are not.

How much free time will we have?

Each itinerary balances structured education with downtime to explore the city, rest, or create content. Expect about half your days to include scheduled learning and group activities, and the rest to be open for personal adventures on average. We also build in free-days so you can adventure further if wanted.

What’s your cancellation policy?

All payments are non-refundable. Because each trip is booked far in advance and includes non-transferable reservations, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and flight changes.

How do we book a private Field Study for our salon team?

Private itineraries can be arranged for groups of five or more licensed professionals. Once you submit an inquiry, we’ll connect to customize your dates, education focus, and travel preferences. A deposit is required to secure your group, with flexible payment plan options available.

What if we’re not all from the same salon?

That’s totally fine! Your group doesn’t need to work under one salon name—just gather five or more licensed beauty professionals who want to travel and learn together. Whether it’s a crew of hair besties, educators, or a mix of stylists from different spaces, we’ll customize a private Field Study just for your group.

What type of education will we receive?

Each Field Study features advanced, hands-on beauty education led by local artists, salon owners, and global educators. Classes vary by destination but typically can include cutting, color, styling, trend forecasting, or editorial techniques. All education is curated to inspire both creative and technical growth.

Do I need to bring tools or salon supplies?

You’ll receive a detailed packing list closer to departure. For most Field Studies, you’ll need your basic toolkit (shears, combs, clips, and styling tools). Color, products, and mannequin heads are typically provided for educational sessions unless otherwise noted in your itinerary.
